How to get to WOW

Bus

During the day there is an open-top bus service running every 20 minutes from Grasmere to Bowness, picking up at Ambleside and Windermere on its way.

Boat

Windermere Lake Cruises runs boats between the three main piers on Lake Windermere. Phone 015394 42600 for more information or visit their site.

Car

Many of the activities over the weekend will be in and around Bowness which only has a small number of car parking spaces, why not leave the car at home (or at your B&B) and enjoy the journey!
